In 1987, 'Nightfall,' the second album by the doom heroes, was recorded. This album was the first to feature Messiah Marcolin on vocals. Messiah brought an incredible voice with him - the voice of Candlemass, which would have a lasting impact on the doom world. In 2019, Candlemass is still relevant - this year their latest studio album, 'The Door To Doom,' was released and climbed to number 18 on the charts in Germany.
