"Antemasque Antemasque" CD

After the American progressive punk band had played several sold-out shows in Germany in October, 'Antemasque' release their debut album on CD and LP on November 21st. Omar Rodriguez Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala should probably be known by anyone who has listened to some rock music in the recent years. With bands like 'At The Drive-In' and 'The Mars Volta', they have claimed their place in the annals of pop history. Founded early in 2014, 'Antemasque' have immediately started to write and record new songs. Besides Omar and Cedric the RHCP legend Flea can be enjoyed on the bass on the album, Mars Volta drummer Dave Elitch does the drums. Omar's brother Marfred Rodriguez Lopez recently joined the band as a permanent bass player for the live shows. On April the 9th there was the first sign of life by the band in the form of the stunning debut single "4am". Three more appeared on the net within the following weeks, and finally, on July the 1st the entire debut album appeared for a short time. On November the 21st the self-titled debut will now be officially released. Although the bar is set quite high by their former bands, you can nonetheless be sure that there will be no lack of hyperactive sound thunderstorms on 'Antemasque's first album.
