"Z2" has become a superlative double album, which brings the skills and creativity of Devin Townsend in perfect harmony with any expectations. A highlight on the new release is the 'Universal Choir'. There was a website designed, on which the fans could upload their own vocal recordings of parts of the album. Then these files were taken and assembled into a 2000 people strong "fan choir".

The limited 3 CD edition comes with a bonus CD of the Dark Matters album without the dialogues, which are on the standard version.
