"Staub und Schatten" CD od Nachtgeschrei

The septet Nachtgeschrei from Frankfurt present themselves mature on their fifth studio album „Staub Schatten“, ready to explore new horizons with their old strength. The band is still able to perform its sensitive interplay between delicate Folk and Heavy Metal blindfolded. This time however, bagpipe melodies are joined by orchestral arrangements and complicated Alternative Rock structures create a dense network around the partly brute Folk Metal. Is this still medieval Rock music? Or to put it another way: Is this really important? Of course it is! Extensively sprawling song structures and fragile acoustic arrangements? Who said that this would be a contradiction? With „Staub und Schatten“ released on 7th August 2015, Nachtgeschrei even underline their reputation as crossover artists. Eleven songs, eleven faces. Album that seems to be made from one piece despite of all versatility!
