The name Dissimulator from Montreal may not be familiar to most in 2024, but with the release of their razor-sharp debut Album 'Lower Form Resistance,' the band unleashes an overwhelming future shock on the auditory and sensory nerves, imprinting their pulsating, unconventional attack permanently into the cerebral cortex. The band consists of members from bands such as Chthe'ilist, Atramentus, Beyond Creation, and others, executing their jagged sci-fi death-thrash with malicious complexity.

Over the course of 42 minutes, 'Lower Form Resistance' brings together the rugged, angular riffs, complex structures, and the atmosphere of overflowing incongruity with straightforward dynamics and constant accessibility at a crossroads where thrash and death metal scenes began to merge, promising boundless potential. In addition, there is a Voivod-like hint of robot feelings and technological downfall, and Dissimulator's vision ensures a complete immersion into their world.
