"Maniac" CD od Fugitive

Blake Ibanez of Power Trip returns with a new band, FUGITIVE, and the 'Maniac' EP - 4 original tracks of the aggressive thrash he is known for with Power Trip, with an even rougher wildness. A cover version of the legendary Bathory song 'Raise The Dead' completes the concise 5-track debut.

Alongside Seth Gilmore (Skourge), Lincoln Mullins (Creeping Death), Victor Gutierrez, and Andy Messer, Ibanez and the band combine their years of experience in the studio and on stage to create a violent crossover with FUGITIVE. A brutal death metal vocal style, as if Power Trip were put through an Obituary meat grinder, solidifies 'Maniac' with the force of a head hitting concrete.

'Maniac' is a short, intense shock of an EP and, over its 17-minute runtime, serves as a clear introduction to the future that FUGITIVE is just beginning to write, as well as a reminder that Texas remains a consistently strong force in underground metal and hardcore.
